Small Town Summits have taken the summer off but the schedule is set for September through June. For the past two years, the Summits have moved around western Massachusetts while gathering concerns from Selectboards and others in our towns. Workgroups have produced research and interacted with the legislature and with the various departments of state government. Legislators and cabinet members have reached out to the Summits to hear our concerns.
For the coming season, the Small Town Summits will focus on a particular concern for each session. These topics have surfaced during the past two years’ meetings. They are:
